"An Evening With Chris Lieto"

Saturday, August 11, 2007, in Danville

C hris is the #9 ranked triathlete in the world and was the #1 American triathlete across the finish line at last year's Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. Chris will talk about many topics. And as the #1 question asked of most pro athletes, Chris will discuss his own training and race day nutritional habits. He will also team with Dr. Chapman from Astavita to answer any questions you have about the sometimes confusing world of supplementation.

We hope you will join us for a fun and fast weekend of racing. All necessary information is listed below. And if you have any further questions or would like to attend "An Evening With Chris Lieto," feel free to e-mail us at FMRCChallengeWeekend@Gmail.com . Buffalo Chips First Monthly "Smash & Dash Free 5K"

Most of you missed a great 5K time trial this morning (Saturday) from University Park! Under near-perfect racing conditions (i.e., daylight), John Nichols crushed the field, and continued to whittle at the Murray deficit, with a tremendous 17:08 performance. Today’s winner will be receiving a new car! Well, at least some new car windows and probably a new wallet to replace the ones stolen and/or damaged by thieves. :( (Sorry John!)

Bonus Points go to Ashley who showed up to her first Chips workout only to discover “Hey! We’re racing a 5K!” and then went ahead and ran with us anyway.

Unlike the Pear Fair, we have accurate and complete results the same day!

Complete Results:

1. John Nichols 17:08
2. John Blue 17:21
3. David Seyvertsen 18:55
4. Gina Adams 22:09
5. Ashley Rawlins 22:30
6. Chris Iwahashi 23:05
7. Rhonda Holden 23:28

Stay tuned for another running of this Free, Fast, Certifiably Flat 5K!
