Humboldt Redwoods Half-Marathon, PA-USATF Grand Prix Event

Eileen Yamada, Mike Schwartz, Linda Hall, Sara Heintz ?), Larry White, Monty Schacht, etc. all enjoyed the wonderful running ambience of this beautiful course this past Sunday.

I do not yet have a “personal report” from on site, but at least several of the bison and bisonette did make the long journey to enjoy this downhill in both directions half-marathon race.

Top overall times were 1:07 for men and 1:17 for women.

NOTICE: Starting next week, October 24, reflective apparel will be REQUIRED for participation in any evening club workout.

Please start wearing your REFLECTIVE upper body Safety Apparel NOW….

NOTICE: RETURN of THURSDAY “SUPER SPEED” sessions…

While we will NOT be using the CSUS track for our renewed short-fast sessions, Kadema is now marked every 100 meters for a full kilometer. Kadema is better illuminated than the CSUS track and is more protected from the soon-to-arrive winter weather . Starting at 5:30 pm from University Park, we WILL be staging organized speed sharpening sessions to COMPLEMENT our Tuesday strength and speed sessions.
