ASC Snowshoe Challenge

Buffalo Chips - In the past few days, I've managed to salvage the canceled USSSA California National Snowshoe Qualifier by convincing fellow Auburn Ski Club Board Members to offer our club as the host facility. Those of you who have organized races can imagine the effort required for one person to organize a national sanctioned race in less than two weeks. As of today, most of that work is now complete and the ASC Snowshoe Challenge is scheduled for SUN/19FEB2006.

Empire has already informed me that they are fielding a Team of 6 to 10 racers. I'm counting on my club, Tamalpa, to do the same. Snowshoe Racing is great fun. Atlas Snowshoe will be providing Demo Snowshoes for every first-timer participant. Your Team members and their families will have a great time. And just possibly, Empire and Tamalpa won't be the only running clubs fielding teams at this year's event.

Most of the info below and attached will be in the Tamalpa 'This &That' and 'Gazette' soon. Since the Registration Form isn't complete, your members can use the temporary form or download the final version within a few days. ASC and USSSA would greatly appreciate your notifying your members about this running event.
