The CLUB encourages participation in the Redding, John Frank 10 Miler, as it builds points for the end of the year awards for club teams.

Marathon Summary U.S. 2005
The following link takes you to a most interesting summary of statistics from all U.S. marathons during 2005. The numbers are generally UP overall, but the times are slowing, as we have pointed up here repeatedly.
Further ONLY 1.6 % of all marathoners are now "breaking 3 hours." This certainly has become a more elite goal now than it was 20 years ago...when more like 5-8% of entrants would break 3 hours.
